About Us

South Metro’s Risk Reduction Specialists help with educating our communities on the prevention of fires and injuries through a variety of programs offered. The Educators work within the South Metro community to ensure that residents learn how to become safer at home, work, and play. We currently offer classes on Older Adult Safety, Motor Vehicle Safety, Cooking Safety, Wildfire Safety and Home Assessment, Home Fire Safety/Evacuations, or Youth Firesetting. We also can provide "File of Life" magnets and free smoke alarms.

Teachers & Parents

South Metro Fire Rescue offers fire and injury prevention programs for children of all ages. Most courses last 60 minutes, but we can adjust to meet your needs. Please visit the CRR website about how we can collaborate for community safety at 720.989.2000 or by email.
