South Metro Fire Rescue strives to work cooperatively with the news media in order to provide the public with timely, accurate information about fires or other incidents. We also count on the media to help us disseminate information during times of crisis. So we will do everything we can to make the jobs of reporters easier. We ask reporters to remember: emergency scenes can be dangerous places and part of our responsibility is to look out for everyone's safety. We must also respect our patients' rights to privacy.
