Chief Brian Brown is a Colorado native and oversees the Fleet Services Bureau and has been with the District/Authority for over 20 years.  During his time with Parker Fire and SMFRA, Chief Brown has developed an enterprise fund which provides cost efficiency with quality service for Parker's and the Authoritie's fleet of vehicles.  He has also established the Fleet Services Bureau as an authorized service center for seven national emergency vehicle and product manufacturers.

The training that Chief Brown has undergone includes Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Master Certified Automobile Technician, Master Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technician, Emergency Vehicle Fire Apparatus Technician Level I and II, Emergency Vehicle Technician Management Level II, Fire Fighter II, Fire Instructor I, and Hazardous Materials Responder Technician.

He is the former president of the Colorado Fire Mechanics Association and was recognized by the National Association of Emergency Vehicle Technicians (NAEVT) with a Certificate of Achievement in 1993.  Other accomplishments include a Colorado Fire Leadership Award in 1997, and a Fire Service Award of Excellence in 2006 from the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

Chief Brown is also an academy instructor for the Colorado Fire Mechanics Associations annual Fire Pump Theory and Accessories 36 hour class.  He chairs the Authorities' Apparatus Committee and teaches the fire apparatus maintenance and fire pump theory and operation classes for the engineer's academy.  Chief Brown also is an EVT Test Proctor and participant of the EVT Validation Committee.
