The South Metro Fire Rescue Authority is governed by a seven-member board of directors. Three of the directors are appointed from and by the Parker Fire District Board of Directors and three are appointed from and by the South Metro Fire Rescue Board of Directors. A seventh director is appointed by the first six.  The directors of both fire districts are publicly elected during regular elections which occur in May of every even-numbered year. The board of directors approved this strategic plan for the organization.
