Where We Serve
South Metro Fire Rescue covers just over 76 square miles in southern Arapahoe and northern Douglas counties. We have ten fire stations, including seven with ambulances and one paramedic engine. The paramedic engine is staffed with at least one state-certified paramedic and carry mamy of the same lifesaving medicines and tools as our ambulances. In addition, many stations house specialty equipment such as our hazardous materials response vehicle, dive rescue boat, water tankers and 4-wheel drive "brush" trucks for going off road to fight wildland fires.

Our administration building at 9195 E. Mineral Avenue in Centennial houses our plan reviewers and inspectors, finance, human resources, and other support personnel. It's west of I-25 between Dry Creek and County Line. Take either of those exits and come west to Chester (the first light west of I-25 on either street). Come south on Chester from Dry Creek, to Mineral and turn right. Ours is the first driveway on the right. Come north on Chester from County Line and then turn left on Mineral.
