False Alarm fees for two or more emergency response calls due to construction-related activities are now $250.00.
Staff of the Fire Marshal's Office maintain a high level of professional certifications, including International Fire Code inspectors, fire suppression system inspectors, International Building Code plan reviewers, medical gas inspectors, certified fire investigators, hazardous materials specialists, and a fire protection specialist.
Fire Marshal's Office Sections
Developers and contractors with projects in the South Metro Fire Rescue District area work with the plan reviewers and inspectors to ensure those projects meet current fire safety requirements. The FMO is divided into three sections: Code Compliance, Development & Construction and Fire Investigation. FMO staff perform new construction plan reviews and construction site inspections, fire code compliance inspections in existing commercial buildings, as well as investigations into the cause of fires.https://co-smfara.civicplus.com/DocumentCenter/View/1032
